While in the process of designing a new website, I have decided to make a few desktop backgrounds! I love beautifully designed papers and incorporating them into ideas.

I had the pleasure of helping out with the 1st Annual Phoenix Design Week exhibits. The whole week has been awesome. I am bummed I was unable to take part in Friday and Saturday events, however I am hoping to continue to be a part of such a great idea for recognizing design in Phoenix.

Winding Down 2009...

I am doing some new things in my life on top of my day job. Freelance designing, photography, more freelancing, and more photography. Only this time we will be taking photography to a whole new level. Keep a look out for a new company that will be developing through these last months of what has been an interesting 2009. The upcoming year, 2010, has much in store...

One rather large project, slowly approaching, includes a wonderful friend's wedding invitations, in addition to other design work. I absolutely can not wait! Let the ideas begin...

Oktoberfun

This weekend Tempe Beach Park held Oktoberfest. My photography partner and I took our cameras and decided it would be a great place to practice lighting techniques. Additionally, I now have music photos to add to the photography portfolio!

Finally Printed!

I did a freelance project over the summer for a consulting business. Logo redesign, business cards, stationery, envelope, and memo card. Everything finally got printed and turned out beautifully!

End of September?

So the month of September has been smooth. Weekends to LA, concerts, lounging, working, designing, photographing, etc. etc. etc. Hooray. I am still wondering where this month has gone. October next week? Yikes. There are many exciting things headed my way. Stay tuned, you may get lucky and experience some of them.

Keep your eyes open for Phoenix Design Week! This is the first year, and boy is it going to rock. My attempt is to enter the poster contest. We will see how this goes.

I am headed to LA tomorrow for the second time this month...guesses of what will be happening this weekend?

I am so behind...

How has time gone by so quickly? I have not been photographing anything lately do to my busy life style...work, freelance, family, work, friends, boyfriend, work, sleep, work again, eat, kickball. Those are the things that my life consists of. I seriously need more hours on the clock, more days in the week, more weeks in a year! I guess I am going to have to get used to working with the time I have. Starting September...I am going to attempt a photography project. I will get back to you later on what exactly it will be. Or better yet, I might not explain it until the end.

A New "Age"

My baby sister turned 21 last weekend. All kinds of fun things were planned...and to finish the birthday weekend off, a night of Hard Summer. Oh wait, they shut it down. Fail. Anyways, excited that my baby sis is now 21! Love her to death, but sorry she didn't have as good of a 21st celebration as I thought she would :( ...I will be making it up to her because I am such a good sister!
